The Ducati racer is unstoppable in the opening session in Losail. From the very start of free initial training, Stoner had cranked up Desmosedici GP9 to record 1 minute 57.7 seconds, which he then sharpened to 1 minute 57,053 seconds.
Valentino Rossi, the champ and the toughest rival working very hard behind stoner to cut the gap. However, the best record he can achieve still make him 0.386 second slower from Stoner.
