Express Scripts Inc. plans to acquire WellPoint Inc.’s in-house pharmacy-benefits-management, or PBM, business in a $4.68 billion deal, the companies said Monday.
Shares of Express Scripts shot up 9% to $53.55 as Wellpoint shares advanced 6% to $42.57 in late morning action.
